Maloof Brothers Las Vegas behind Ali Lohan Music and TV?

As VEGASLATE broke to you first, Ali Lohan’s shooting for her upcoming E! reality tv series alongside mom Dina Lohan has been occuring in Las Vegas, with the two staying at the Palms.So what’s the Maloof Brothers connection with Lindsay Lohan’s mom and sister?

One website is reporting the Maloofs are involved in both Ali Lohan’s upcoming music and tv projects. Really?

FOX today reports that Ali, 14, is recording under a “branch of UMG [Universal Music Group]: Jimmy Lovine’s Interscope via Maloof Music. The latter is owned by the Maloof Brothers of Las Vegas, whose Palms Hotel is a hotspot on the strip. The Maloofs not only are underwriting the album but also the reality series Ali and mom, Dina, are starring in for “E!” “

Surprising.

And if you think Lohan is the only music guest currently at the Palms, not so says Fox. “The brothers let the Lohans stay at the Palm, just as Michael Jackson and his brood have been living in another part of the hotel. “

Rehab Pool Party Las Vegas Hard Rock Hotel

Has it been five years already?The Hard Rock Hotel’s fifth year of “Rehab”, Las Vegas’ favorite pool party, starts this Sunday afternoon April 27.

But this year will be like no other.

New to Rehab reportedly will be a VIP daybed deck, exclusive beach lounge areas for hotel VIPs and seven, yes SEVEN, more cabanas.

Each cabana comes with a private server, 42-inch plasma flat screen HD television and poolside spa services.

A new “Elit Rocker” bottle service package sponsored by Stoli Elit joins the cabanas.

And as told you first by VEGASLATE, Rehab this year will feature poolside filming for “REHAB The Movie”.

Rehab is on Sundays starting at 11 am (but you need to get in line earlier than that) with cover (generally) $40 for men $20 for women and comps for some local ladies.

Donny and Marie Osmond Flamingo Hotel Las Vegas

Donny and Marie are back, but this time with a flamingo!

Donny and Marie Osmond will be headlining a variety show at the Flamingo Hotel here in Las Vegas starting this September. The run is 26 weeks, eight months, in the Flamingo Showroom.

The two came to fame with “Donny & Marie”, a 1976 variety show.The event is described as a greatest hits event with modern techonlogies.”My version of a variety show has been what Vegas has known thus far,” said
Danny Gans of GansLight Entertainment. “What we have now is a true variety show which conveys the real essence of America and the country’s love of homegrown talent.”

Tickets go on sale Monday.

Toni Braxton currently in a 2 year run at the Flamingo ends her gig this August.

Toni Braxton is currently recouperating from medical problems and on leave from her performance nightly inside the Flamingo Hotel here in Las Vegas.

How did Toni get sick?

Probably from Tyra Banks horrible driving!

Toni appears today on the Tyra Banks show (taped clearly a few weeks ago) promoted as “shot in a car”. Of course, it’s a silly back screen projection and what appears to be a HUGE product placement tie in for the new Chevy Malibu.

Joe Calzaghe Defeats Bernard Hopkins Las Vegas Fight

VEGASLATE told you about this big match a few weeks back, and now the result is in. Calzaghe defeated Hopkins tonight here in Las Vegas.

Joe Calzaghe was knocked down in the first round but came back to win on points against Hopkins tonight in Las Vegas, to nab number one in the world for light-heavyweight.

Calzaghe is now still undefeated but the win on points was close in tonight’s meeting.

Judge Adalaide Byrd, close at 114-113 verdict, but the other judges with a further margin: Chuck Giampa (116-111) and Ted Gimza (115-112).

Criss Angel Believe Las Vegas Show Luxor Ticket Sales Dates

Criss Angel’s Cirque du Soleil-Criss Angel production announced its name today. VegasLate can tell you it will be called “Criss Angel Believe”. Its opening date in Las Vegas? Sept. 12 at the Luxor. But previews begin Sept. 1!

Tickets sales began today for casino VIPs and Angel fan club members.

The show is named after a Harry Houdini legend. The magician allegedly had designated a code word for talking with him after his death: “believe”.

Angel will play the part as a “surreal, enigmatic Victorian noble.”

Dina Lohan, mother of Lindsay Lohan, clearly has some big plans for her upcoming E! Reality TV Series “Living Lohan”.

Dina has reportedly moved shooting from initial shots in Long Island to Las Vegas.

Online reports today suggest that the bulk of initial shooting for the reality show that focuses on daughter Ali Lohan will occur in Las Vegas.

Dina and Ali dined last night at N9NE steakhouse. After dinner, Ali went to bed while Dina hit up Palms’ Playboy Club, then to Moon nightclub.

What did she drink? Reports says some shots with friends.
