Phil Ruffin has bought Treasure Island! Phil Ruffin has bought Las Vegas hotel and casino Treasure Island from MGM Mirage moments ago. Phil Ruffin paid $500 million in cash.

Ruffin made the purchase through his his company Ruffin Acquisition LLC. Treasure Island was part of the MGM Mirage portfolio since MGM Grand bought Mirage Resorts in 2000.

The value of the deal - reportedly $775 million.

MGM is expected to make a “substantial gain”. The deal will close in Q2 2009.

Britney Spears went “Bare” in Las Vegas today. Britney Spears hit up Bare, the topless pool at the Mirage.But good Brit left her top on. Instead she showed legs, lots of them, in heels almost as big as her recent attorneys’ bills.

Brit Brit is in Vegas with daddy Jamie Spears for Fathers day, standing at the Palms.

But when it came to bare-ing it … not at all … Spears chose the Mirage pool.

Leticia Cline at JET! Leticia Cline hosted last weekend Jet Nightclub inside Mirage.

LALATE featured Leticia Cline a few days back in an exclusive story.

Leticia was the finalist in the series Beauty & The Geek along with fellow Playboy alumn Amanda Corey. Cline is now reported to be one of Howard Stern’s Bowling Beauties when it premieres on Howard TV this month.

Cline is from Orlando and a mother of one.

PLAYBOY.COM spoke EXCLUSIVELY to LALATE NEWS about Leticia’s making the finales of the CW series.

John Thomas, Playboy.com editor, told LALATE NEWS: “Beauty and brains are a timeless combo so we’re not surprised Amanda and Leticia have kept up their end of the beauty bargain on the show. Even though only one will win we’re sure to work with both in the future — how could we not?”

Amanda Corey eventually won that broadcast.
